Our Wonderful Parks

The Township of Somerset offers two parks where visitors can relax and enjoy the scenery.

McCourtie Park

McCourtie Park covers over 42 acres of greenery. A winding creek runs through it, crossed by several unique bridges. The park sits at the corner of US-12 and S. Jackson Road.

Jerome Community Park

Jerome Community Park lies near a century-old schoolhouse. It is quiet and evokes a simpler time, nestled in the small community of Jerome.

Call For Volunteers

Volunteers are welcome to join the Parks and Recreation Committee. If you’d like to lend a hand, please provide your contact information to the township clerk.

Call For Donations

If you’d like to donate to the park, these items would be useful:

  • Patio stones or landscaping blocks
  • Tools
  • Any other items in good condition that could benefit the park

Thank you for supporting our township parks.
